Dzogchen Beara offers opportunities for paid employment, work-exchange volunteering and the chance for Rigpa students to join our team of resident Practising Sangha volunteers.
Vacancies for paid employment and Practising Sangha are listed below.
Practice Team Assistants (Rigpa Students)
Since the opening of the temple at Dzogchen Beara, there is a need to expand and develop our practice team. With this in mind, we are seeking to recruit passionate Practice Team Assistants who wish to develop their knowledge and understanding of Vajrayana practice.
This is an evolving role with an opportunity for development in one or more aspects of Vajrayana practice including shrine ritual, practice co-ordination, and/or umdze activities and musical instruments.
Benefits include accommodation in your own retreat room, full catering and a monthly allowance.
If you are a Rigpa student interested in joining the team responsible for holding the spiritual practice at the heart of our community please contact programme@dzogchenbeara.org
Retreat attendant (Rigpa Students)
A wonderful opportunity for a Rigpa Sangha member to join the retreat team at the spiritual heart of Dzogchen Beara, looking after people in personal, group and long-term retreats.
The Retreat Attendant works closely with the Retreat Manager to look after long-term retreatants and people doing shorter personal retreats in both Longchen (Dzogchen Beara’s long-term retreat house) and in Centre House.
The Retreat Attendant’s primary focus is on making sure retreatants have a comfortable stay at Dzogchen Beara.
If you are a Rigpa student interested in joining the team responsible for supporting retreats at Dzogchen Beara please contact Anne at programme@dzogchenbeara.org
