Dzogchen Beara is Rigpa’s long term retreat centre – the Drubdra.
In retreat we benefit from the three components which support us in integrating the benefit of our practice into daily life – right environment, practice in formal sessions, and integrating during the breaks.
In the last 30 years over 300 Rigpa students have entered into closed retreat at Dzogchen Beara, to accumulate and deepen their Ngöndro, to complete one or all of their Tsa Sum practices or to enter solitary retreat. Many others have completed personal retreat, focusing for shorter periods on their current priority for study or practice.
As our sangha spiritually matures, more of us feel the need to deepen our understanding and experience in retreat. Financial assistance is available to help us take this precious opportunity, through Study and Practice grants from the Terton Sogyal Foundations. Dzogchen Beara also offers flexible payment options, allowing you to pay your retreat fee over time.

Dzogchen Beara also has limited places for Dzogchen students to do solitary retreat.
