Khentrul Rinpoche

The Heart Sutra
Friday 4 July 7.00pm to Sunday 6 July 1pm

We are delighted to announce that Khentrul Rinpoche will visit Dzogchen Beara for the first time to teach in our new temple this summer.

This is a rare opportunity to receive teachings from Rinpoche, who has kindly agreed to teach on the topic of The Heart Sutra.

The Heart Sutra is the Buddha’s quintessential teaching on wisdom. It elucidates the true nature of phenomena, just as it is, free of all elaborations. This profound teaching is a spiritual journey of the heart and mind that examines perceptions of the outer world and inner aspects of our very being.

Khentrul Rinpoche is a Rimé (nonsectarian) Master of Tibetan Buddhism. He has devoted his life to a wide variety of spiritual practices, studying with more than twenty-five Masters from all of the major Tibetan traditions. In the spirit of Rimé, Rinpoche feels a genuine respect and appreciation for all spiritual systems.

Khentrul Rinpoche is considered the 7th emanation of Bodhisattva Akasagarbha. By teaching people how to cultivate a flexible mind and remove bias, he aspires to create compassion-based communities, transforming this world into a golden age of global peace and harmony.
