Mountain Stream Practice

Kum Nye Tibetan Yoga and Meditation – Suitable for Beginners
with Matt Padwick
Friday 28 March, 11am to Sunday 30 March, 1pm

In this retreat we will experience how through movement we can discover a greater stillness – and how in that stillness we come alive.

Based on traditional Tibetan healing practices, and suitable for all ages and fitness levels, Kum Nye’s movement and breathing exercises restore the body’s natural rhythms and calm the mind.

Through presentations, reflections and guided practice we will explore what it means – and feels like – to “find your flow” both in meditation and in everyday life.

Mountain Stream Practice is

  • A very effective gateway to meditation for beginners, while for more seasoned  practitioners it will be an opportunity to deepen their practice
  • By calming the restless flow of thoughts and opening our senses we can fully appreciate the natural environment – what better place to be than Dzogchen Beara!
  • Practising ways to integrate meditative awareness in our everyday life.

“Kum Nye is new to me and I am enthralled at it’s application and benefits. To intersperse the sitting meditation and Kum Nye exercises is a real plus plus!” Marie

“I’ve really taken to the Kum Nye and grateful to have been introduced to its gentle and powerful ways” Gabriella

“Thanks for the great Kum Nye exercises… I was very taken by their simplicity and effectiveness.” Maria
