Visiting With Your Group
On this page you can find out about how you can bring your group to Dzogchen Beara and enjoy the beautiful natural environment of our Buddhist Meditation Centre.
Day Visits for Groups
We are happy to tailor your visit based on your needs and we can offer personalised packages for your group.
As part of a group visit, we offer an introduction to our centre along with a guided meditation session with one of our experienced presenters followed by an opportunity for questions and answers.
A delicious vegetarian lunch is included and is served in our mediation room with floor-to-ceiling windows offering spectacular ocean views.
The group will have a guided tour of our Temple where our team will explain the unique architecture, sacred decoration, images and statues.
Price per person €40. Please note there is a minimum of 15 people for tailored group visits.

Typical Schedule
Arrive 11am Tea Break in the Main Shrine Room
11.30 – 1pm Welcome and Introduction to Dzogchen Beara
Introduction to Meditation or Loving Kindness Practice (depending on group)
Guided Practice
Opportunity for Questions and Answers
1 – 1.45pm Lunch in the main Shrine Room
1:45 – 2:15pm Temple Tour

Keeping our minds healthy is essential for young people today and this is being acknowledged more and more in schools in Ireland. Dzogchen Beara offers visits for primary and secondary schools who wish to get to know the centre, receive an introduction to meditation & Buddhism, have a tour of the site or even stay for vegetarian lunch.
Average price per student €15 (based on a minimum group 20 pax – maximum 30 pax)
Dzogchen Beara has a policy of not turning anyone away for financial reasons so please contact us to discuss pricing.

Research has shown that meditation improves focus and concentration, promotes emotional well-being by helping with stress and anxiety, improves sleep quality, reduces pain, improves cardiovascular health and immunity and enhances self-awareness.
A typical visit includes:
- Introduction to a simple method of meditation for calming the mind
- Introduction to Loving Kindness meditation for developing kindness towards ourselves and others
- Short Video Presentations
- History of Buddhism and the centre
- Time for questions and discussion
- A tour of the grounds including the new temple, Spiritual Care Centre, gardens and stupa (Buddhist monument)
- Visit to our Cafe/Gift Shop
- Vegetarian lunch
Please note our max bus size is a 32 seater due to the entrance width at Dzogchen Beara.
